Photo Challenge: Send Us Your Gold Photos
Gold reminds us of warmth, accomplishment and wealth. It can be a component of jewelry and coinage. For some, it might even call to mind buried treasure. It is often shiny, but not necessarily fancy. Gold is also the color of the hot summer sun or a field of parched grass.
We’ve been paying a lot of attention to gold this past week, as Olympic athletes vie for the iconic medal.
For this week’s Photo Challenge, we want you to send in your best photos of gold.
Even though this week’s theme is inspired by the Olympics, we encourage you to interpret gold any way you choose. Send in a picture of your golden retriever, a wedding ring or a golden apple. Keep your eye out for gold this week and snap a picture of anything that embodies the theme. Be creative!
We don’t care if you’re a pro with a DSLR or an amateur cellphone photographer, just capture your interpretation of gold and share your photo with us. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
