Kobayashi Goes Head-To-Head With A Hamster In Epic Hot Dog Eating Contest (Video)

Takeru Kobayashi was once a veritable legend in the world of competitive eating. In 2006, he basically defied all laws of physics when he ate 97 hamburgers in 94 seconds.

Unfortunately, the Japanese speed eater has since seen his downfall. He had his ass handed to him multiple times by hungrier competitors. His most recent battle, however, has to be his most epic yet.

Kobayashi went head-to-head with a hamster.

The previous world-record holder faced his tiny competitor in a hot dog eating competition. The two were given franks proportional to their body sizes, and, as in a normal competition, given a set amount of time to eat as many as possible.

The hamster won.
