These NYC High School Students Walked Out Of School To Protest Ferguson (Video)
New York City High School students organized a walkout Monday afternoon in protest of the grand jury decision in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.
What started as a Facebook page with a little over a hundred participants grew to nearly one thousand protestors rallying in the streets of Manhattan. Chanting “hands up, walk out,” students left class to rally against racism and police brutality from Union Square to Times Square.
Many Millenials who are often categorized as trend followers made a point that this fight is not a fad and that more protests are to follow in the coming weeks.
