LeSean McCoy Actually Made A Good Case For Why He Left A 20-Cent Tip
LeSean McCoy might not be a jerk after all.
During a press conference, McCoy was asked about what led him, a multi-millionaire, to leave a 20-cent tip at a local restaurant this week.
The star running back defended the tip, calling it a “statement” against terrible service, saying,
The 20-cent tip was more of a statement… You can’t be disrespectful and expect somebody to tip you, I don’t care who the person is. That’s why I left my card — so they could see my name.
The experience wasn’t all bad for McCoy, though. He says the food at the restaurant was pretty good.
As for the waiter? Charlie Sheen pledged to donate $1,000 on top of McCoy’s 20 cents.
That’s cool. I’m happy he’s finally doing something positive.
