Creative Couple Makes Stunning Mural To Announce Pregnancy (Video)
Sometimes, inspiration can come from the most unexpected of places.
Such was the case for Sara and John Jennings, an architect couple from Durham, NC.
The two had recently moved into a new home and wanted to create a mural on one wall, but they were unsure what, exactly, they wanted the mural to portray.
Luckily, they weren’t stuck for long: Sara learned she was pregnant, and the two decided a baby-themed mural would be the perfect way to break the news to their friends and family.
The creative couple created a time-lapse video of the mural-making process, which took four days and 13,000 pieces of 1-inch colored paper to complete.
In the video, they celebrated as the last piece fell into place, but the mural wasn’t finished. They still had to add in a figure of their soon-to-be child.
The video of the completed mural was sent out as a Christmas card and can be seen in the video up top. This is easily the most creative pregnancy announcement we’ve ever seen.
It’s clear the couple’s future child will have a pair of very loving, creative and sweet parents — and we couldn’t be happier for them.
