3 Year Old Shown Ultimate Disrespect By KFC
Global fast food brand KFC has apologised after a girl recovering from a pitbull attack was asked to leave a restaurant because her appearance was frightening other customers.
Three-year-old Victoria Wilcher lost her right eye, suffered a broken jaw, nose and cheekbones and facial scarring when she was mauled by the pitbul.
Last Thursday her family posted a photo of her on a Facebook Page accompanied with the message: ‘Does this face look scary to you?
‘Last week at KFC in Jackson Mississippi this precious face was asked to leave because her face scared the other diners.
‘I personally will never step foot in another KFC again and will be personally writing the CEO.’
KFC responded by saying it has launched an investigation into the claims.
A spokesperson said: ‘Please accept our sincere apologies while we try to investigate this incident.
‘We have zero tolerance for any kind of disrespectful behavior by our team members. Once we have further details, we will immediately investigate this and take action, and we wish nothing but the best for Victoria in her recovery.’
The toddler was attacked by three of her grandfather’s pitbulls after they burst through the door of his trailer in April, according to the Clarion-Ledger newspaper. You can read the Facebook transcript below.
