Mashable Media Summit 2012: Early Bird Tickets on Sale Now
Mashable is pleased to announce the 2012 Mashable Media Summit. This annual one-day conference will take place on November 2 at the TimesCenter in New York City, where it will unite the brightest minds in media, including journalists, technologists, media executives, entrepreneurs and social media leaders.
Throughout the day, leaders across the industry will explore how new forms of technology and innovative business models are transforming the media landscape. That includes new ways of consuming information, the mainstream use of mobile, the proliferation of social sharing and different forms of journalism. We’ll explore a range of topics that are reshaping how we create, consume and market media.
Our initial lineup of speakers includes David Carey, president of Hearst, Joan Walsh, editor at large at Salon and Kay M. Madati, head of entertainment and media at Facebook. And like last year, leaders from Mashable will share their insights into the biggest trends that will shape the future of media.
We’ll be announcing more speakers in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
